Sigourney Weaver reignites the Ghostbusters 3 rumors

Ghostbusters 3. Blah blah blah, bustin’ made me feel good etc.
By the time this film is released everyone will already be sick of it.
Which is a big fat shame, since the 1984 supernatural comedy has been one of the highlights of my life (I don’t have many friends and I don’t get out much). The on-again-off-again rumors of the Busters’ return to the big screen has been far too ‘Ross and Rachel’ over the last couple of years, and now Signourney Weaver has thrown her mouth into the ring.
“They’re working on the script,” she said, revealing nothing. Of course they’re working on a script. They’re probably working on five scripts. It’s the film we want them to work on. She went on to offer up her own ideas for how the aging cast might still squeeze into their Ghosbuter uniforms by introducing a new, younger character.
“All I said was I really think my little boy Oscar, who went through that traumatic kidnapping [in Ghostbusters 2], should be a Ghostbuster. So I think that might happen.” Hmm, not a terrible idea, and it gives the writers a way to work her character back into the story.
“He would be grown up,” she ill-advisedly continued, “and he’d be like Zach Galifianakis.”
Gozer preserve us.
