Spectra Magazine HD out now on iPad App Store
Spectra Magazine Issue 1 – On sale now at Amazon Kindle Store and iPad App Store!
It’s all moving very fast, but we don’t mind admitting that we feel as though we’ve been waiting forever for the iPad version of Spectra Magazine HD to land on the Apple App Store. But this morning, like Christmas, birthday, the second big bang and the zombie apocalypse all rolled into one, there it was waiting for us.
As you know, Issue 1 is already live on the Amazon Kindle Store (links to the US and UK stores are below) though the Spectra Magazine HD version operates slightly differently. Rather than pester people with recurring fees, we wanted to make a six month subscription as simple, transparent and seamless as possible. So with Spectra Magazine HD, all you do is buy the subscription up front for £7.99/$13.99 and the issues are delivered automatically on a bi-weekly basis via application updates. Streamlined and simple.
Your thoughts and feedback on Spectra Magazine Issue 1 are very welcome over on our official forums. And don’t forget you’ve still got time to enter our flash fiction competition and win yourself a brand new, third generation Amazon Kindle.
Previews of Issue 1′s short stories are available right here on the Spectra Magazine website, should you want a sneaky advance look before delving into our world of sci-fi, fantasy and horror entertainment:
- Songbirds, by Kristine Kathryn Rusch
- A Distant Sound of Hammers, by S. Boyd Taylor
- When The Arizona Moon Meets The Arizona Sun, by Brian Dolton
- Wolf-Being, by Kim Falconer
